Yangzijiang Shipbuilding is a large enterprise group with shipbuilding and Marine engineering manufacturing as its main business, shipping leasing, trade logistics and real estate as its supplement. The company's history can be traced back to 1956. It started as a shipbuilding cooperative. After a series of development, such as factory relocation in 1975, stock restructuring in 1999, construction of a new plant across the river in 2005 and listing in 2007, it is now the first Shipbuilding enterprise listed in Singapore in China.

Group company consists of Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Yangzi Xinfu Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Yangzi-Mitsui Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., which is located on both sides of the golden waterway of Jingjiang, Taixing and Taicang cities in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, 170kms away from Shanghai and Nanjing.At present, the total assets of the group exceed 70 billion yuan, covering an area of more than 5 million square meters, with more than 7,000 meters of wharf shoreline and more than 6,000 employees. 



The company has three giant dry docks and three large and medium-sized slipways, with an annual shipbuilding production capacity of 7 million DWT. Our main products are large and medium-sized container ships, bulk carriers, oil tankers, liquid carriers such as chemicals, LNG, LEG, LPG and other clean energy ships, various multi-purpose ships and ocean engineering equipment. The company has first-class shipbuilding technology, powerful shipbuilding facilities and equipment, perfect production process, a high-tech enterprise in Jiangsu Province under strict environmental, occupational health and safety and quality assurance system, the products have been the praise of major shipowners. The shipbuilding output of the group ranks among the top 5 shipbuilding industry in China continuously since 2009 and the per capita shipbuilding output and profit and tax level of the group ranks first among Chinese shipbuilding enterprises. In 2021, it ranked 485th among the Top 500 Private Enterprises in China, 142nd among the Top 500 Manufacturing enterprises in China and entered the top 10 shipbuilding enterprises in the world. The company was awarded the "Best Transparent Company" by the Singapore Exchange. The company's main long-term credit rating is AA+.
